A little but concrete help to give a new chance to the Centre of Italy
Thanks to your support during more than 40 years, we can give today a chance to the future of 150 students coming from areas in the Centre of Italy affected by the earthquake. We were able to achieve one of the most important project: concretely help people coming from areas in the Centre of Italy affected by the earthquake.
Some months ago, took place the opening ceremony of the high school of Cascia, Scientific high school and technical school, which has been reopened after the reconstruction works after the earthquake of august 2016. The school host more than 150 students coming from Cascia and Norcia.
Cascia is one of the village that have been seriously affected by the earthquake of the center of Italy in 2016 and, among lots of collapsed buildings, also the walls of the high school of Cascia crumbled. For this reason, Re S.p.A., thanks also to the support of the Italian Civil Defense, decided to contribute in order to realize two prefabricated modules that are used as language and computer classrooms.
“Today we’re fulfilling our most important project. We feel honored to be part of this great project and to initiate the return to the normal life of the guys of Cascia and Norcia, who, from now, will have a new laboratory for language and computer studies.” Mr. Colombo states, Re S.p.A. Executive Director, “It’s a duty that, from the beginning, we felt to take part in with all our forces and resources to give a new chance to the guys and their families”
Moreover, during the Christmas period, Re S.p.A. committed itself to relaunch the economy of the farms affected by the earthquake buying the typical products coming from Abruzzo region to donate to its employees.
With the consignment of the laboratories for the school, we gave our small and modest contribution to give a new chance to new generations, that chance that the earthquake have stolen in few seconds.
